Gil is a problem-solver, business developer, financial services professional, software developer, serial entrepreneur and team player. On the financial services side, his career has extensively spanned the fields of stock market analysis, asset management, trusts and estate planning, investment funds administration and accounting, multi-currency private banking, fintech, crypto assets and corporate services. He currently serves as Vice-President of the Bahamas Investments and Securities Business Association, as a member of the FinTech Working Group of the Bahamas Financial Services Board, as Head of Business Development & Fintech of Equity Group International (a multi-national financial services conglomerate), and as President of Transfer Tree Corp Limited, a bill payments company. On the tech side, he is President of 1magine Web Development and CFO of Bluestone Labs and has successfully developed solutions for the banking, shipping, airline, transportation, media and health industries and beyond. He holds degrees from the University of Toronto and Harvard University, and lives by the motto “life is meaningless unless we use our talents and abilities to improve the lives of others.”
